Assessment
Increase |
|
On behalf of your Board of Directors, we are writing to
inform you that there will be an increase in assessments for
2009. To best anticipate reserving funds for short and
long term capital improvement work, the Board unanimously
voted to increase the annual assessments from $190 to
$228. Your quarterly assessment will be $57.
Your Board is making every effort to control costs
without sacrificing the quality of living that you have come
to expect as a Member of the Copper Creek Association.
We thank those of you who consistently and conscientiously
pay your assessments in a timely manner, which assists us in
our efforts to effectively administer the Assocation's
affairs. We also encourage you to attend the regular
Board meetings, to observe how your Association funds are
used.
You will receive your 2009 statements before the end of
the month. Please note that your first quarterly
assessment is due January 1, 2009. Payments are
considered delinquent if not received by the fifteenth day
of the month. Your assessment check should be made
payable to the Copper Creek Association, and please note
your lot number in the "Memo" section of your
check.
Should you have any questions concerning this mailing or
any other aspect of the Copper Creek Association, please do
not hesitate to contact our office and request assistance
from one of the following staff members.

La
Canada Drive Widening |
|
The construction on La Canada Drive from Tangerine Road to
Naranja Drive will require lane restrictions and the closure
of side streets. Please note the following:
 |
Foxfire Street and Silverleaf Drive will be closed on
Thursday, November 13th and Friday, November 14th in
order for the new northbound lanes on La Canada to be
paved. On Monday, November 10th, message boards
will be out to notify drivers.
|
 |
The intersection of La Canada Drive and Naranja Drive
will experience lane restrictions and minor delays on
Monday, November 17th in order for the new turn lanes to
be paved. Traffic will be maintained in all
directions at the intersection.
|
 |
Amphi School District has already been notified and
will re-route the buses that use Silverleaf Drive.
|
 |
Residents that need access to Rain Rock Way will not
have direct access from La Canada, and should use an
alternative entrance into Copper Creek. Please
note they may experience minor delays and/or changes in
traffic control on Silverleaf Drive to provide access to
Rain Rock Way.
|
 |
Northbound and Southbound traffic will remain the
same, but may experience minor delays as the asphalt
trucks access the paving operation.
|
Please note that this scheduled closing is subject to
change in order to accommodate the weather and completion of
the paving of the northbound lanes. Any updates will
be sent to you in advance. If you have any questions,
or need more information, please contact Stratford
Management.

Holiday
Hayride & Decoration Contest! |
|
The
Copper Creek Association will again hold its Holiday
Hayride. Save the date for Saturday, December 20,
2008, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Please remember that all are
invited to participate; however, we request that each person
donate one can of food. Contributions will be donated
to Interfaith Community Services.
It's time to take out those boxes and dust off the
holiday decorations. Again, the Community will have a
decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded to the five
best decorated properties. Judging will take place
during the hayride; but please start early, as it is always
nice to drive through a Winter Wonderland!
